G.I. Joe Silent Weapons Specialist, Codename: Quick Kick

From Reis O'Brien, About.com

By 1985, Hasbro's line of 3 3/4" G.I. Joe action figures were reaching the height of their popularity, each year churning out new members of the team. One fan-favorite of that year was G.I. Joe's very own silent weapons specialist, Quick Kick.

Evoking the spirit of the legendary Bruce Lee, Quick Kick was the go-to guy when machine guns couldn't do the job that could be more efficiently , and more silently, done with swords, nunchucks and throwing stars. Quick Kick was could quietly take out a dozen Cobra soldiers without so much as making a peep and he did all of this without ever wearing shoes!

According to his file card, Quick Kick was born MacArthur S. Ito in Los Angeles, California to a Japanese father and a Vietnamese mother. Devoting his life to martial arts, he became a master of Tae Kwon Do, Go Ju Ryu, Souther PRaying Mantis Kung-fu, Tai Chi sword, Zen sword and Wing-Chun. He also sported one awesome headband.
