Pre-Transformers Red Sunstreaker

Sunstreaker was available in the United States as a yellow Countach, but this early version that pre-dates Transformers comes in a vibrant red color.

Sunstreaker is one example of a Transformer that was available in many different colors in Japan before the toy came to the United States. Kids stateside always thought that Sunstreaker was yellow, but this example of a Diaclone toy shows that Sunstreaker came in red.
