ThunderCats Checklist

The ThunderCats Return

ThunderCats was one of the major cartoon and toy tandems which was so successful during the 1980s. Alongside G.I. Joe, Transformers, and Masters of the Universe, ThunderCats stole the hearts of children each and every Saturday morning with its lovable cast including Lion-O, Panthro, Cheetara, and more. The toys released by LJN to accompany the cartoon were a mega hit as well, still remaining popular with collectors today.

For what seemed like an eternity to many collectors, the action figure world was without new ThunderCats action figures. Hopes and requests for a return to the brand weren't satisfied until Bandai announced that they would be releasing figures based on a new cartoon in 2011.

The line of ThunderCats figures by Bandai is separated into a number of different segments, primarily a 4-inch modern figures assortment, a 6-inch modern figures assortment, and an 8-inch classic figures assortment. To both complicate and simplify things, the 8-inch line has been reduced in size to 6 inches.
