Hot Toys just revealed more images of their 1/6 scale Red Skull figure based on his appearance in last summer's Captain America film. The promo shots are stunning in every way, once again suggesting Hot Toys produces the best the action figure industry has to offer. It's likely the final product will look just as good on toy shelves at home given the company's past record on delivering amazing figures.
Red Skull will feature the standard high-quality costume elements, including an incredibly well-sitting overcoat. He will also come with six interchangeable hands, a pistol, cosmic cube, and figure stand. There is a standard Johann Schmidt head, as well as the striking Red Skull head. The figure it set to be released in the second quarter of 2012.
If you're a fan of Hot Toys' work on movie-based figures, this one shouldn't disappoint. The likeness of actor Hugo Weaving is jaw-dropping. The images which accompany this post are of the figure, not the actor. It might have been difficult to tell, as they look eerily realistic.
I hope I'm able to get my hands on this figure, because it will definitely be an attention grabber.
