Hot Toys and Predator Go 1/4 Scale

By , About.com Guide   December 31, 2011

If you needed any more convincing that Hot Toys is an action figure company you need to know, then the recent announcement that they will be returning to the Predator series (including Alien vs. Predator) in a 1/4 scale should do the trick. That means gigantic figures with unbelievable details and likenesses will be in collectors' hands before long.

Hot Toys specifically mentioned that "it will be surely an enhancing of the details and quality level! And the mask and some of the body armors will be made by die-casting!" Die-cast armor and masks sounds like it will make these figures absolutely stunning, with an unmatched weight and shelf presence. Of course, the price will likely be just as hefty as the figures themselves.

And if that wasn't exciting enough, Hot Toys also mentioned that Arnold himself will be appearing as Dutch in the 1/4 scale as well. This is a great time to be a Predator fan.
