With the upcoming New Year's celebration and accompanying ball-drop in Times Square, this is the perfect time of year to make sure you aren't letting the ball drop when it comes to your action figure collection. With the turn of a new year, I like to take catalog of the action figures I've purchased and received over the course of the last year. It's always nice to look at the big picture and see just how many new figures you've acquired, how much you've spent, and what's left to buy.
To get you started, take a look at my still growing collection of checklists, including the Ghostbusters Classics Checklist and Masters of the Universe Classics Checklist. These include brief details about each line, as well as breakdowns of all the various figures released so far. More checklists will be coming soon as I settle into my position as guide, so stick around to see more in the near future too.
Once you've seen which figures you're still missing, you might want to take time to manually insert your figures' information into a spreadsheet like the one I maintain to organize my collection. There are also a lot of online resources which can help you organize your collection too, so keep an eye out for those.
