Argh! I cannot express enough this internal tug-of-war torment that I suffer when I think about Mattycollector. One minute I hate them for letting all of the scalper neckbeards get all the figures, then I love them for re-releasing He-Man (which is now one of my most prized figures in the collection), then I hate them again for not having enough Skeletor re-releases to last more than an hour, and now I see some pics of the upcoming Battlecat figure and I love them so much again! Mattycollector is like the worst girlfriend in the world.
The thing is, as angry as I may get with Mattycollector, they're producing some spectacular toys, and the new Battlecat looks like it will be no exception. Besides, I finally got my MOTU Classic He-man, so I kind of have to get Battlecat, right? If I don't, it would be like getting a Batman without a Batmobile, or Hawkman without his wings, or a vintage Mego Happy Days Fonzie figure without his classic Motorcycle. What's he going to jump over the shark tank with?!
So, complain as I might, I know I'll be there there the second they go on sale. But so help me, if they sell out in under an hour and I don't get one, I'll go to Mattel's head offices myself and give them the meanest look they have ever gotten. So there.
