DC Universe Classics Wave 10 Drives Collectors Crazy

From Reis O'Brien, About.com GuideOctober 2, 2009

Mattel has been really pushing their luck recently with action figure collectors after the "MOTU Classics" fiasco and the news that most DCUC Wave 9 orders will not be filled, but now the natives are getting restless over the latest release of the DCUC, which is a Wal-Mart exclusive, is reportedly so difficult to find that it's allowing scalpers to snatch up the limited supply and throw them up on eBay at extraordinarily exorbitant prices.

Word on the street (and by "street", I mean action figure forums) is that not all Wal-Marts will actually be receiving shipments of these figures and the ones that do are getting their shipment sporadically. What figures that do make it onto the pegs are snatched up by scalpers. This is not good for DCUC collectors or lonely dudes with crushes on Power Girl.

Yeah, I’m disgusted with Mattel’s lack of distribution. I’ve been lucky so far with MotU so far, but DC lines are a big FAIL!
