One of my new favorite websites, ActionFigurePics.com, posted a few shots of the new exclusive Batman figure that is included with the special edition DVD of Superman Batman: Public Enemies. Now, I was kind of on the fence about whether or not I was going to pick up this DVD, because in all honesty, I could just rent it eventually, or wait until it shows up on Cartoon Network (just like I did with Batman: Gotham Knight and then went out and bought anyway, because it was disgustingly awesome), but now that I've gotten a sneak peek at the exclusive figure, and considering my penchant for Batman figures anyway, I now have to go out and buy this. I'm sorry, but I just have to. I have no choice on this.
I'm not exactly sure if this is a Best Buy exclusive, as the article over at ActionFigurePics.com suggests, but I'm thinking it probably is, considering Best Buys habit of releasing animated DVDs with exclusive action figures, like they did with the Wonder Woman release. And now that I think about it, I'm wondering if there is a Superman version?
Anyway, as soon as I get the new Bats, expect a full review. I can tell from the pics that it may be an action figure only in the loosest sense as I'm not seeing a whole lot of articulation here, but we shall see for sure once I get my greedy little mitts on one.
