As I mentioned before, with Halloween rapidly approaching, I'm finding myself once again craving caramel apples and thinking a lot about monsters! It's just a thing that I do.
I have been nostalgically searching for old favorite monster toys from my youth, like the Remco Universal Monsters line or the similar Burger King monster figures, and as if serendipity was waiting for me around a dark corner with a baseball bat, Entertainment Earth announces the release of Funko's line of Universal Monsters vinyl figures.
Now, I know that a lot of people don't consider vinyl toys as action figures, some factions going so far as to refer to these types of toys as "hipster trash", but if they're not exactly action figures, they're close enough, being around 7 inches tall and having a few points of articulation. And that's good enough for me.
