It seems today that all you see is violence in movies and sex on TV, and luckily, you can now re-enact all of that with these new Family Guy action figures from Mezco toys! Actually, these are reissued figures that sold out long ago, so if you're like me and did get in on the action while the gettin' was good, you've got a second chance!
These are some tiny little miniature figures, only about 2 1/2" tall, according to the write-up, and possess the minimal amount of articulation to still technically be called "action figures," specifically at the neck and shoulders, but that's no biggie, because it's not like Family Guy is an action adventure cartoon, despite the occasional knock-down, drag-out brawl between Peter and a giant chicken.
Personally, I would like to see a series of these figures in a slightly larger 3 3/4" format with a little more articulation. And then I'd want to see the whole gang, including Cleveland, Joe, the creepy old neighbor guy and perhaps a Quagmire multi-pack that comes with a bevy of hapless, unsuspecting women and push-button "giggity giggity" action. But that's just me. The upside to the figures being so small is that you can get them all in one very affordable set, and they can easily interact with your Jawa collection.
