New DC Universe Superman, Now Mullet Free!

I'm not the world's biggest Superman fan, but I do have a soft spot in my heart for the more classic versions of the character, especially any renditions that have that same spark I remember from the original Superman movies or the comics from the '70s and early '80s. I can't indentify with the Superman of the '90s, mostly because he kept dying and then coming back and for some reason he apparently grew a mullet in the afterlife. Not sure why, maybe they hand out mullet haircuts along with halos and harps.
So, for the past decade and a half or so, poor Clark Kent has been cursed with the hairdo of a mediocre one-hit Country singer, thus knocking him down several more rungs on my personal popularity ladder. If you don't know what I'm talking about, just take a look at this picture. I must not be the only one sick of his mudflap hairdo, because the fans have spoken and Mattel wised up enough to release an all new DC Universe Superman figure with the clean cut, All-American look that we all remember.
This is the Superman even a Batman fan like myself can appreciate! He's got that no-nonsense, I'm-going-to-save-the-world look about him. This guy isn't going line-dancing after he defeats Lex Luthor, nosiree!
THe new Superman DC Universe Figure is an addition to the popular Classic All Stars collection and will be available for purchase this coming September, or you can pre-order it now at www.entertainmentearth.com.
