Learn Yoga from Your Action Figures!

Here's another one for the "fun with your action figures" department. I've seen people do a lot of interesting things with their action figures, including tying them to bottle rockets, putting one in a microwave and even one episode where an action figure had to be extracted from the icky end of a dalmatian. But internet yoga guru, known as Elastigirl (which I'm assuming has to do with her amazing yoga bendiness and rather than her affiliation with Pixar's The Incredibles) has taken on the task of spreading the good word about yoga to out of shape action figure collectors everywhere with her blog, Yogabeans, in which she poses action figures in various yoga poses and then explains each pose through a conversation between the action figures.
There's an excellent moment between Ric Flair, Batman and the Wasp as they attempt a paticular pose, but Wasp can't get passed the bending and stretching stages due to her wearing a bullet-proof outfit... to a yoga class. Brilliant!
So, if you're itching to bend backwards and touch your heels (with your nose) but have been uninspired by the usual run-of-the-mill yoga instructional videos, then you may want to take a lesson from the plastic likenesses of Aquaman, Stormshadow and the Silver Surfer, to name just a few.
You can visit Yogabeans at www.ygoabeans.com, but be sure to stretch first.

Quelle coincidence!
I was posing some of my dolls and then some of my action figures in this post, http://phillycollector.blogspot.com/search?q=yoga , to see who was more flexible. Surprisingly – NOT – the guys were more pose-able.
Nothing new under the sun, I guess.
