The 7 Best, and 7 Worst G.I.Joe Movie Figures

We're still a couple of weeks away from the G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra movie hitting theaters, longtime fans of the monolithic toy franchise are going bananas over the new G.I. Joe 3.75" line of figures from Hasbro and even more so as the newest wave of G.I. Joe movie figures are starting to hit toy shelves.

Any self-respecting Joe fan has seen the multitude of movie previews floating around the internet and has already become familiar with the live-action characters from their costumes to their weaponry, so we kind of know what to expect with the figures. But with every action figure release based on a live action movie, we have long ago learned that they can suffer from bad sculpts or cheesy gimmicks. The early reports on the Rise of Cobra figures seem to be a mixed bag.

The quintessential nerd blog, Topless Robot, as taken up the task of listing the 7 best and 7 worst Rise of Cobra toys with their usual brand of acerbic wit and biting commentary. Although I pretty much agree with the list, I'll save my personal judgments once I pick up a few of the figures myself and am able to write my own reviews right here at About.com. Still, I can see where the Robot with no shirt on is coming from. But no mention of Stormshadow? What's up with that?
