Name That Action Figure! July 24, 2009

Friday July 24, 2009

Okay, okay, I admit that last week's mystery figure wasn't much of a challenge. And I am nowhere near surprised that both Charles and Bubbashelby got it right probably without even looking at the picture for more than .01 seconds. You guys are too good!

Last week's mystery figure was indeed the ever-popular Hawkman from Kenner's groundbreaking action figure line that showcased some of the biggest (and not so biggest) superheroes in the DC universe, including Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman and more. Each figure in this line was equipped with an action feature that best fit the character. In Hawkman's case, a simple squeeze of his legs set his wings to flapping, allowing kids everywhere to pretend that Hawkman was soaring through the skies on his way to rescue the citizens of the DC universe from yet another supervillain's nefarious plot!

Now on to this week's mystery figure. Think you know who it is? Take a guess and if you're right, you just may wrestle the shared crown away from our reigning action figure geniuses. So, take a look at the picture above and see if you can Name That Action Figure!

This one looks like DC Direct’s Watchmen Movie Nite Owl.

I was also thinking the Nite Owl 2 figure but I cant say for 100% sure because I only own the classic Nite Owl but from looking at the back of the box it looks very similar.
