Name That Action Figure! June 12th, 2009

Wow! You guys know your action figures enough for me to have to take off the kid gloves and really get tough! It took reader Chad Thorson about an hour to let the cat out of the bag and correctly name last week's mystery character as the crimson-glowing Tron baddie, Sark. Congratulations, Chad!
Sark was played by David Warner in the 1982 Disney sci-fi flick Tron. Although the film was a decent success, the figures made very little splash. This was during a period when the action figure world was ruled by Star Wars, G.I Joe and Masters of the Universe which were veritable licensing juggernauts. Despite the handicap, Tron figures have done well in recent years with adult collectors as the movie has moved up to sci-fi cult status. On top of that, Neca released a series of 20th Anniversary Tron figures in 2002, that gave collectors a dose of action figure nostalgia without running over their wallets with a light-cycle.
Thanks to everyone who dropped by for last week's installment and my hat's off to everyone who knew the correct answer. However, the faster you guys guess the correct answers, the tougher I'm going to have to get on you. You have been warned! I truly am impressed with how well many of you know your action figures. In fact, just to keep you on your toes, I may have to make this a twice-a-week feature here on the Action Figures blog. Let me know how you all feel about that and I'll see if I can make it happen.
So, without further ado, take a look at the picture above and then take a stab at this week's installment of Name That Action Figure!
