Action Figures BlogThe Year of Clone Wars is Underway with Obi-Wan and Gentle GiantGentle Giant has revealed images of an upcoming mini-bust of Obi-Wan Kenobi, based on his appearance in the Clone Wars cartoons that aired on Cartoon Network in 2003.
The edition size is 5000 pieces, but it gets a little bit complicated from there. According to Gentle Giant, the bust is meant to serve as a companion piece to the 2007 statue of Obi-Wan in Clone Armor, and so customers who ordered the statue directly from Gentle Giant will be able to purchase this bust first, and at half price ($25 plus shipping). The remaining 2500 will be distributed among retailers and sell for the full retail price of $55. 2500 is essentially the edition size of a highly coveted exclusive for Gentle Giant, so be sure to pay attention to when your retailer is supposed to stock this awesome piece!
